Doctrinal Beliefs:
Background: Called to serve in full-time ministry after more than 20 years in the business world. Responded in 2016 by beginning seminary full-time to complete a Master of Divinity. Raised in a Southern Baptist church near Richmond, Virginia; made a decision to follow Christ at age 13.
Doctrinal Beliefs: I believe there is only one living and true God...The eternal triune God that reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being. Christ is the eternal Son of God. In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary and in His substitutionary death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God fully divine and active in the lives of believers today. I believe the Bible to be the infallible and inspired Word of God. I am in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message of 2000.
